    Custodial history

These records were in the possession of Mrs. Jean Summers of Fort Gratiot, Michigan, who received them from her former husband, H. Gordon McMorran, a nephew of Clara Mackenzie. Summers gave them to Peggy Armstrong in the late 1960’s or early 1970’s. Armstrong passed them on to the Region of Peel Archives in Brampton, Ontario in 1994, which then transferred them to the University of Regina Archives.

This collection consists of 35 personal photographs falling to seven series: Fishing trip; Three Children, Boats and Boating; Urban Scenes; Summer Outing; Mackenzie and Natives; and Mackenzie Portrait, as well as a scrapbook containing letters and clipping relating to his death and an unidentifiable photograph.
