The collection relates mostly to Gallery 454, the Grand West Canadian Screen Shop and the Art Collectors Club, it ranges in dates from 1979 to 2005 and contains 1 reel to reel; 45 slides; 4 contact print sheets; 572 photographs; 141 negatives; 5 color separations and 8 transparencies as well as oversize material including original ink drawings and architectural drawings, publications and transparencies. A few closed files exist within the collection as well.

The collection was transferred from the artist to Archives and Special Collections, the original order was not deemed usable. Two photograph albums were preservation photocopied, the photographs in these photo albums were removed. Future accruals are expected.

All requests for access to the Bill Lobchuk archives will be forwarded to Bill Lobchuk for approval. No persons shall have access to any part of the Bill Lobchuk papers without prior consent of the donor. All material will be available for limited loan for exhibition purposes to accredited repositories and art galleries with the donor’s consent.
