This small collection is comprised of a small selection of magazine pages and correspondence from architect Clifford Wiens to Her Majesty, The Queen of England. The correspondence Wiens received in return to his letter is from a female personal assistant, (a Lady-in-waiting), and was sent on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen. The correspondence regards royal visitors to Saskatchewan, and their stays at the lakeshore residence designed by Wiens. A selection of pages about the residence published in Western Living Magazine (Special 40 Anniversary Issue, December 2011) is also featured in this collection. The collection was sent to the Archives and Special Collection in October 2016 by Clifford Wiens in a blue presentation folder which was removed.
