This fonds contains an unpublished book of poetry by John Beauchop Wells, former teacher of Journalism at the University of Regina.

This is particularly evident in her correspondence with various individuals and institutions between 1973 and 1981. A substantial proportion of the collection is also comprised of drafts and background material to the numerous short stories she has authored. Aside from providing vital information on the construction of these works, the files provide insight on Dr. Givner as a person. They show her to be a persistent and particular researcher, a flourishing scholar and personable individual.
