In November 2011, these clippings were donated to the Archives and Special Collections by Arthur’s sister Dorell Taylor.
The material in this collection arrived in a 1¼ inch binder containing handwritten notes,
clippings, 12 artifacts, 65 photographs, and one publication. Among this material is one 1933 correspondence
between Myrtle Gryde and Florence Kirk, who was an instructor at Regina College from 1930-1932. Also
included are programs from various dances and commencement exercises, time table cards, college crests
and pins. The sixty-five candid photographs offer a glimpse into the life of a female student in residence at
Regina College 1930’s. The date range of this collection is 1931 to 1965, predominantly 1931 to 1933.
This collection includes 17 floppy disks which were primarily minutes of meetings and
related administrative matter, the disks were printed out and saved to the Universities servers for interim
preservation. The collection also includes 2 compact disks, 9 artifacts, 27 photographs 6 negative strips and 7
slides as well as numerous reproduced images of the works owned or exhibited by the Club. Oversize renovation
plans of the Club are included in the collection and where possible the original file titles remain.
