The collection relates mostly to Gallery 454, the Grand West Canadian Screen Shop and the Art Collectors Club, it ranges in dates from 1979 to 2005 and contains 1 reel to reel; 45 slides; 4 contact print sheets; 572 photographs; 141 negatives; 5 color separations and 8 transparencies as well as oversize material including original ink drawings and architectural drawings, publications and transparencies. A few closed files exist within the collection as well.

This collection of sketchbooks neatly dovetails with the Ken Lochhead Paper (86-29). Lochhead came to the University of Saskatchewan, Regina College in 1950 to the new School of Art. In 1955 he began a series of artists’ workshops at Emma Lake in northern Saskatchewan. He spent time at Emma Lake and in Regina sketching. One can trace the evolution of his style through these sketches. Special trips, a sabbatical to Rome in 1958-59, a
trip to England, Wales and Scotland in 1976, and a trip to Nazarre, Portugal in 1981 gave him fresh opportunities to explore through sketching. The collection of sketchbooks is small but the wealth of information and detail is great, and the visual delights are many. To keep all material together, this collection has been placed in oversize boxes (1/4 – 4/4).

This collection consists of 432 centimetres of textual records, 4,433 photographs, 547 slides, 18 video cassette tapes, 33 audio cassette tapes, as well as some oversize. The collection was donated by the estate of the artist. The records in this collection include biographical and educational material, correspondence, curriculum vitae and employment history, professional organizations, publications, visual reference material as well as honours and awards. The date range is from 1911 – 2008, 1950s-2003 predominant.

This collection consists of 1.82 metres of textual records, 1115 photographs (including 7 oversize and 5 panaramas), 1 slide, 2 audio cassette tapes, 3 contact prints, 13 folders of oversize material and 3 oversize boxes. The date range is from [1937] to 2011.
